Some of you may have heard of the 3/50 Project before. If not, you really must check it out. The idea is simple – pick three local businesses and commit to spend $50 of your monthly budget supporting them. A little goes a long way in supporting your local economy. Find out more by clicking the image below.
This is a good idea! Thanks for sharing.
Amen, I live in a small town close to Boston, I try to shop local. 60% of your money stays local if you spend it local as opposed to 20% if you shop at a chain store
Hi Lauren,
I tried to email you that you won the penguin ornament in my giveaway but it keeps getting bounced back to me. So I hope you get this message. Please email your mailing address so I can get the penguin right out to you.
Thanks and congrats!
Jennifer
According to the sales stats, B&Ms have really been hit. The best thing they can do is to join ‘em by either getting a website (not the best idea) or finding a marketing venue, easy if they sell vintage, supplies, or crafts.
Alot of small shop owners are really, really reluctant to get on the internet because it is scary. They could hire a part-time person to do it for them a little bit at a time.
